Law Offices of Parag L. Amin, P.C. is seeking a full-time Remote Paralegal with California law firm experience to support attorneys and clients through the full case lifecycle.

This role may involve civil/business litigation support, drafting, discovery, e-filing/service, calendaring, and case file management. The position is remote and open to candidates in Latin America, including Colombia, with availability 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Pacific Time and required setup: own computer, dedicated workspace,

Formación

• Professional or legal degree for paralegal or lawyer or country equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of litigation experience with a California law firm highly preferred.
• Prior experience at a California-based firm as paralegal, legal assistant, or case manager.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfortable meeting deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn case management/CRM systems quickly.
• Professional judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Organize, maintain, and manage digital case files and legal documents with accuracy.
• Track milestones, deadlines, tasks, and follow-ups in case management systems.
• Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence.
• Support California e-filing and service workflows.
• Manage discovery processes: gather, review, organize, and produce documents.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
• Assist with trial/hearing prep: exhibits and witness files.
• Calendar management and docketing; coordinate logistics.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.
