CSG Systems is seeking an Operations Engineer II on JO Platform DevOps to keep our cloud-native JO and Analytics SaaS reliable in AWS and across regions. You will ship automation, document what you build, and grow toward senior platform work, collaborating with Platform TechOps, engineering, and customer teams.

You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Terraform-managed resources, and Kubernetes workloads, while improving monitoring, runbooks, and incident responses on a distributed team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• 2–4+ years in DevOps, cloud operations, SRE, or platform engineering (or equivalent production depth).
• Hands-on delivery of a SaaS or PaaS in the cloud with multi-environment, customer-facing impact.

Responsabilidades

• Platform operations & support across regions; troubleshoot incidents; contribute to RCAs and improvements.
• Automation & tooling: Bash and Python scripts for deployments, diagnostics, and data/ops workflows.
• CI/CD & infrastructure: Work with Azure DevOps pipelines, Terraform AWS resources, and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Observability: Operate monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Cross-team delivery: Coordinate releases and environment needs with multiple teams.
• Documentation & enablement: Write runbooks and READMEs for operability.
• Continuous improvement: Propose faster/safer patterns and adopt modern DevOps practices.
