Job summary

Somewhere is seeking an Item Data Integrity Specialist to ensure accuracy of product information across POS and item management systems. You will work with the Regional Buying Team to maintain item records, pricing, sizing, vendor data, and purchasing information across stores; this is a fully remote role with overlap into US time zones.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills, data-entry precision, and experience with inventory or purchasing data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; business/accounting preferred.
• Experience in purchasing administration, grocery retail, inventory management, or data entry.
• Proficient in Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas; pivot tables preferred).
• Ability to navigate POS, inventory, and purchasing databases quickly.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, self-motivated, organized, and deadline-driven.
• Clear written/spoken English; reliable internet and secure home office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain item records across POS and item management systems.
• Identify and remove duplicate or inaccurate item entries.
• Manage new item setups, replacements, and category reassignments.
• Enter and maintain pricing and cost data; flag margin discrepancies.
• Provide remote support to Regional Buyers and assist merchandising programs.
• Conduct weekly/monthly data audits and resolve discrepancies.
