Toptal is a global network of top talent in business, design, and technology. Our Client Advisors turn inbound interest from small- and medium-sized businesses into Toptal clients, responding within five minutes and guiding each client through the sales process.

You will establish trust, diagnose needs, and connect necessary Toptal specialists to drive decisions. This remote, English-only role requires energetic, consultative selling with a focus on momentum and value across our portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of B2B sales experience (Account Executive, Inside Sales, Sales Development, or related).
• Proven experience converting inbound opportunities into paying customers at scale.
• Experience coordinating parallel sales opportunities, maintaining momentum.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Full availability during working hours to take client calls.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company with high-volume clients.
• Exceptional time management.

Responsibilities

• Run high-energy discovery on every inbound conversation; build sales momentum and rapport.
• Identify needs, explain why the Toptal offering fits, and seek commitment; manage deal cycles.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and bring in specialists into deals as needed.
• Maintain clear next steps, timing, and blockers for active opportunities and new inquiries.
• Understand client growth plans, including global hiring and payroll needs, and position Toptal as a strategic partner.
• Engage clients via Zoom and Slack with a client-centric approach and timely responses.
• Review calls for feedback and contribute learnings to the team.
