The candidate will monitor system health, jobs, backups, storage, network connectivity, and alerts, escalating to L2/L3 as needed. Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• 2–4 years of experience in IBM iSeries infrastructure support.
• Experience in 24x7 production support environments.
• Strong knowledge of IBM i operational activities and basic troubleshooting.

Aufgaben

• Monitor IBM i systems, LPARs, jobs, subsystems, and resources.
• Respond to alerts and incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform daily health checks and log handovers.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams with details.
• Support backups, BRMS, and recovery activities.
• Handle security alerts and access-related requests.
• Monitor storage, network connectivity, and IFS/VIOS components.
• Participate in shift exchanges and on-call duties as required.
