Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Global DAM Specialist to join our Global Creative & Digital Marketing Operations as a remote employee based in Colombia. You will manage ingestion of digital assets, ensure metadata quality, and enforce licensing and rights compliance across global teams.

You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional partners to improve searchability, support asset workflows, and renew rights as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with DAM platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Bynder, Widen Collective) and understanding of content management systems (CMS).
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for minor asset adjustments.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to use analytics tools to generate insights on asset usage, user activity, and other performance metrics.
• Project Management: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, coordinating effectively with stakeholders across global teams.
• Rights Management Knowledge: Familiarity with copyright laws, licensing, and digital rights management best practices.
• Growth mindset, flexibility and openness to new ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Ingest assets according to global standards and S&OP.
• Monitor asset quality, naming conventions, and taxonomy compliance.
• Organize and tag assets with accurate metadata.
• Maintain metadata standards and improve searchability.
• Ensure copyright, licensing, and digital rights compliance.
• Track expiration dates, renew rights, and remove expired assets.
• Support global upload workflows and approvals processes.
• Enforce embargoes, usage rights, and expiration dates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on asset ingestion.
• Support other projects aligned to company initiatives.
