Job summary

FullStack Labs, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer for remote work in Colombia. You will embed with enterprise teams, architect AI systems, build agents, and ensure real-world operability within client environments.

The role blends consulting, engineering, and hands-on delivery across regulated industries. You’ll lead discovery conversations, design end‑to‑end agentic workflows, and own the delivery pipeline from prototyping to production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development with production stacks (Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, C#/.NET, or Go).
• 1-4 years of experience shipping agentic AI solutions, LLM workflows, and RAG architectures in production.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four‑year college degree is required.
• Hands‑on experience with frontier AI developer tools including Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or OpenAI Codex.
• Track record of leading client-facing discovery calls and deconstructing unstructured problems.
• Solid understanding of architecture paradigms such as RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.

Responsibilities

• Discover: run workshops and discovery with stakeholders to scope AI problems clearly.
• Structure: map current states and turn them into executable specifications for humans and AI systems.
• Architect & design: end-to-end agentic systems including orchestration, context, tools, guardrails, and MCP/LlM APIs.
• Build: ship working agents and automations with rapid value proof.
• Engineer the delivery system: own CI/CD, environments, and releases.
• Consult: present decisions to CTOs and VPs, support pre-sales scoping and proposals.
