Job summary

The Firm, a U.S. fractional CFO advisory, seeks a Financial Systems Specialist & Client Accountant to manage client bookkeeping on a bespoke fintech platform. Remote LATAM preferred, full-time independent contractor, aligned with PST hours, offering $2,200–$2,600 per month depending on experience. Reports to the Founder & Managing Partner (CPA).

You will own month-end close and platform troubleshooting across startup accounts, building efficient workflows and ensuring audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years practical accounting or full-charge bookkeeping.
• Hands-on month-end close experience reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and liabilities.
• High systems agility; comfortable with learning new tech stacks.
• Fluent English communication, client-facing.
• Time zone alignment with U.S. Pacific Time (PST).

Responsibilities

• Startup Month-End Close & Bookkeeping Execution across a portfolio (~60%).
• Full-Cycle Month-End Closes with timely, accurate reporting.
• Transaction categorization and vendor/invoice processing.
• Proprietary fintech portal navigation and data troubleshooting (~30%).
• Engineering collaboration: report bugs and propose improvements.
• Client onboarding and fast-response support (~10%).
