Job summary

Bluelight is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps engineer to strengthen our production systems. You will manage AWS services, implement IaC, and lead CI/CD and deployment automation. A strong security mindset and experience with audits are essential.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on reliability, performance, and security while supporting SOC 2 readiness and incident response processes. A bachelor's degree is required, and you should be able to overlap US business hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Hands-on AWS services experience (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Production Aurora/PostgreSQL with multi-AZ failover and replicas.
• Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
• Docker-based containerization and ECS/Fargate.
• CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
• Deployment automation with rollback drills and tested rollback paths.
• Monitoring/logging/observability with OpenTelemetry or CloudWatch.
• Load testing with k6 or similar; latency SLOs.
• Security-first: secrets management, vulnerability scanning, hardening.
• Support SOC 2 audits and client security reviews.
• Incident response, on-call, root-cause analysis.
• Experience with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
