Bluelight is expanding its software consultancy team and seeks an experienced DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps professional. You will design and operate robust AWS-based environments, implement CI/CD pipelines, and drive security-first practices across large, complex systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration, hands-on AWS work, and contributing to challenging projects for clients in the Americas. A Bachelor's degree is required, with remote-friendly, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production with multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
• Deployment automation with rollback drills and tested rollback paths.
• Monitoring, logging, observability tools (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch).
• Load testing (k6) and latency/SLAs management.
• Security-first mindset: vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance/hardening.
• Experience with SOC 2 audit evidence and client security reviews.
• Incident response, on-call rotations, root-cause analysis.
• Experience with large, complex systems; overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
