Bluelight is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE engineer to join our growing consultancy. You will contribute to designing and operating robust, scalable cloud-based systems for diverse clients, with a focus on security, reliability, and performance.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong AWS experience, IaC, CI/CD, and incident response. You will work across US business hours, collaborate with teams, and help clients meet audit and hardening requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on AWS: ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3.
• Production Aurora/PostgreSQL with multi-AZ, read replicas, lag monitoring.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Docker containerization and ECS/Fargate orchestration.
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation with rollback drills.
• Observability tooling: OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch or similar.
• Security-focused: vulnerability scanning, secrets management, hardening.
• SOC 2 audit support and client security reviews.
• Incident response, on-call, RCA, large-scale systems.
• Overlap US business hours; Bachelor’s degree required.
