BairesDev is seeking a Storage Engineer to design and maintain distributed storage systems at scale. You will bridge low-level systems programming with high-performance infrastructure to optimize data storage and access.

You will design Ceph/MinIO/S3-like solutions, implement storage layers in C/C++, Go, or Rust, and ensure durability and consistency in high-throughput environments. This role is fully remote with flexible hours.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Storage, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering.
• Proven expertise in distributed storage systems like Ceph, MinIO, or S3-compatible solutions.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, Go, or Rust for systems-level development.
• Deep understanding of durability and consistency models, replication, and block storage at scale.
• Hands-on experience with distributed file systems and object stores in high-performance environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deploy scalable distributed storage solutions such as Ceph, MinIO, or S3-compatible systems.
• Develop and optimize storage layers using systems-level languages like C/C++, Go, or Rust.
• Implement robust data replication and consistency models to guarantee system durability.
• Manage the lifecycle of distributed file systems and object stores in high-throughput environments.
• Architect block storage configurations to meet the demands of large-scale production workloads.
• Monitor and tune storage performance to minimize latency and maximize resource efficiency.
