Twilio is hiring a Compliance Operations Specialist 1 for a remote role based in Colombia. You will monitor traffic across Twilio products to ensure legality and compliance with policies, CTIA, and industry standards. You’ll detect non-compliant activity, protect customers, and support users by email while collaborating with industry partners.

The role emphasizes case work, data-driven decisions, and a commitment to preventing fraud. Remote-friendly with occasional in-person meetings as needed.

Formación

• Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings, weekends or holidays.
• 1–2 years of experience in fraud, abuse or compliance in ecommerce, FinTech, or telecom.
• Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with bias for action.
• You’re empathetic and enjoy solving problems with data for customers and carriers.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and comfort with ambiguity.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to articulate ideas clearly.
• Willing to collaborate with industry partners to resolve issues and build trust.
• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of Zendesk, Airtable, Looker or similar tools.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate cases quickly and efficiently; become a subject matter expert in compliance investigations.
• Protect customers by identifying bad actors and evolving tactics; minimize false positives.
• Identify trends and root causes; recommend preventative solutions.
• Use call detail records and traffic data to detect patterns and actions.
• Resolve urgent issues impacting businesses, carriers and customers worldwide.
• Provide support for customers by email to ensure a great experience.
