Job summary

Twilio Inc. is seeking a Compliance Operations Specialist 1 to monitor Twilio product usage and ensure traffic meets legal and policy standards. You will investigate cases, detect non-compliant activity, and collaborate with teams to stop fraud while preserving a great customer experience.

Remote-first role based in Colombia with occasional in-person meetings. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in fraud/compliance, strong analytical skills, and a customer-centric mindset to protect our platform

Qualifications

1–2 years experience in fraud, abuse or compliance in ecommerce, FinTech, or telecommunications.
Experience in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a bias for action.
Empathetic and data-driven problem solver.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to handle ambiguity.
Willing to collaborate with communications partners and industry players.
Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Investigate cases quickly and efficiently, analyze bad actor behavior and become a subject matter expert.
Protect customers by identifying non-compliant activity and minimizing false positives.
Identify trends and root causes; recommend preventative solutions.
Use traffic data to identify patterns and actions to take.
Resolve urgent issues impacting businesses and carriers worldwide.
Provide email support to ensure excellent customer experiences.
