You will design, implement, and optimize batch and online processing with CICS/DB2/JCL/VSAM, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and document changes for long-term maintainability.
Formación
- 4+ years in software engineering, mainframe development, or systems programming.
- Proven COBOL maintenance on IBM mainframes.
- Proficiency in CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
- Experience with batch and online transaction processing.
- Strong analytical skills and English proficiency.
Responsabilidades
- Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications for batch and online processing.
- Manage mainframe components like CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
- Analyze legacy codebases to identify modernization opportunities.
