Job summary

NeoWork is hiring a Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records for U.S. companies and accounting firms. You will keep the books accurate from transaction recording through month-end reconciliations, working remotely from Colombia.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero, and strong English communication. The role offers a remote, home-based setup with incentives and annual reviews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations and basic accounting principles.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written English for communicating with U.S. teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Based in Colombia with a reliable home office setup and stable internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Record transactions and maintain accurate general ledgers
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Review balance sheets and P&L statements to identify discrepancies
• Support month-end close and prepare basic financial reports
• Follow established SOPs and communicate issues to the accounting manager
