Job summary

Valatam is hiring a Junior Bilingual Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our fully remote Latin American team. The role handles routine inquiries across phone, email, and live chat, serving as the first point of contact for customers.

You will support account updates, troubleshoot basic issues, escalate complex cases to seniors, and collaborate with internal teams. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and strong English and Spanish skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (C1/C2) and Spanish
• 1-2 years of experience in administration or virtual assistance
• Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Quiet home office, stable internet (≥ 10 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up), and backup connection
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Multichannel Customer Support: Respond to routine inbound and outbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and timely manner
• Account & Troubleshooting Assistance: Help customers with basic account updates, general inquiries, and standard technical or process troubleshooting
• Issue Escalation: Identify complex or high-priority customer requests and elevate them smoothly to senior team members
• Follow-ups & Workflow Support: Track pending communications, send routine reminders, and ensure all customer inquiries are resolved efficiently
• CRM & Data Entry: Accurately update customer profiles, interaction logs, and records in internal databases and CRM tools
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to gather the necessary information to resolve customer queries
• Administrative Operations: Provide general administrative support to the customer service department as needed
