Job summary

WPP Media is seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence (Data Engineering and Reporting) to architect data flows, automate ETL, and deliver dashboards across Power BI, Datorama, and Tableau. You’ll work with onshore and offshore teams, ensure data governance, and enable reliable marketing reporting for global clients.

The role requires 5+ years in BI/DE, strong SQL, Python or R, and advanced Excel. Hybrid/hub opportunities span Mexico or Colombia, with a global operations context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering or BI, preferably in marketing or media.
• Advanced Power BI; knowledge of Datorama/Tableau/Looker valued.
• Strong SQL proficiency; Python or R for ETL and testing.
• Advanced Excel; QA methodologies and automated testing for data pipelines.
• Familiarity with ad-tech platforms and web analytics tools.
• Experience with cloud infra (GCP preferred) and BigQuery/Dataflow.
• Excellent written and verbal English; onshore/offshore collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Define business requirements to build stable data architecture.
• Design and deploy ETL processes and SQL/Python scripts for data pipelines.
• Extract datasets from multiple media platforms and QA partner data.
• Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations that are accurate and scalable.
• Support report generation and testing plans to ensure accuracy.
• Validate data across Power BI, Datorama, Tableau and raw sources.
• Maintain data hygiene, mapping, and change logs with governance.
• Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams and manage timelines.
