Plan A Technologies is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites ensuring quality, reliability, and performance of applications. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual QA engineers to integrate automated testing into the lifecycle.

You must have 5+ years of automation testing experience and proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/JS/Java/C#). Remote work options and global offices available.

Formación

• 5+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on automated testing.
• Proficiency in at least one OO/scripting language (Python, JS/TS, Java, C#).
• Solid understanding of automated testing patterns (Page Object Model) and assertions.
• Hands-on testing REST/SOAP APIs and validating payloads, status codes, and security.
• Familiarity with DOM manipulation, locators (CSS/XPath), and browser automation.
• Experience using Git or similar VCS for test code management.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills; proactive mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze product requirements and user stories to design test plans and cases.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test scripts for web, mobile, and APIs.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for quick feedback on changes.
• Execute automated runs, analyze results, and log reproducible defects.
• Maintain test suites to adapt to new features and bug fixes.
• Track quality metrics and present QA results to engineers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers to fix issues early.
