Plan A Technologies is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web, mobile, and RESTful APIs, ensuring quality, reliability, and performance across applications. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual QA engineers to integrate automated testing into our development lifecycle.

• 5+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on automated testing.
• Solid understanding of automated testing patterns and test architecture.
• Hands-on experience testing REST/SOAP APIs and validating payloads, status codes, and security.
• Experience using Git or similar version control systems for test code management.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze product requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test scripts for web and mobile applications and RESTful APIs.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to provide automated feedback on code changes.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, log defects with steps to reproduce.
• Update and maintain existing test suites to adapt to features and bug fixes.
• Track quality metrics and present QA results to engineering stakeholders.
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives to collaborate with developers.
