Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires legal or attorney-development background.
• Strong L&D program design skills grounded in adult learning theory.
• Direct coaching/mentoring experience with people management.
• Working knowledge of US employment law.
• Ability to analyze utilization and performance data to drive decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Overlap with Americas time zones, ideally ET.
• Resilient, direct, and comfortable with ambiguity; AI-forward mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build a feedback cadence aligned with firm culture and development goals.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with partners and firm leadership.
• Create and maintain a sense of community for associates.
• Own end-to-end L&D programs and course design.
• Coach and mentor associates, addressing performance concerns.
• Use data to identify under- or mis-utilized associates and drive actions.
• Contribute to talent acquisition efforts and understand how employment law touches development.
• Represent attorney development as a credible, influential function within the firm.
