GBS Group is seeking an experienced software platform engineer to design, deploy, and maintain internal tools and automation workflows. You will own end-to-end systems including AI-driven processes, security, and reliability.

You will collaborate with operations and leadership to translate business needs into scalable solutions, integrate third-party tools, and ensure robust data handling across ecosystems. This remote LATAM-friendly role offers high ownership and impact on global operations.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or similar roles.
• Proven experience building and maintaining internal tools, automation systems, or operational platforms.
• Strong backend and system design fundamentals with the ability to design scalable, reliable systems.
• Experience with API integrations and system orchestration, connecting multiple tools and services into cohesive workflows.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with observability, logging, and monitoring systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in production environments, including LLMs, agents, or automation platforms.

• Implement and maintain security best practices across internal tools and AI workflows.
• Manage authentication, authorization, and access controls (RBAC, secrets, API keys).
• Ensure secure handling of sensitive data across integrations and AI systems.
• Monitor for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential abuse.
• Protect systems against risks specific to AI-enabled environments.
• Work closely with operations and leadership to translate business needs into systems.
• Improve how teams operate by reducing manual work and increasing leverage.
