Hire Latam LLC is seeking a Remote AI Automation Engineer to organize and improve AI tools and workflows. You’ll structure data, manage what information models receive, choose models for tasks, and test results for accuracy, speed, and cost, working directly with the founders.

This 100% remote role targets candidates based in Latin America, focusing on building end-to-end AI solutions with a stack that blends automation platforms and custom code. Collaboration with leadership is foundational.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building, debugging, and deploying automation workflows in n8n.
• Understanding of context engineering.
• Understanding of model differences.
• Full ownership of AI systems built and improved.
• Integrations with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and databases.
• Hands-on experience with LLM endpoints and prompts.
• Auditing and validating AI-generated code for reliability and security.
• Strong analytical problem-solving for practical, maintainable solutions.
• Advanced English proficiency for collaboration with founders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Structure data: convert documents and conversations into usable, consistent data.
• Manage context: decide what instructions and tools each model needs at each step.
• Choose models and organize the work: assign tasks, optimize cost vs. quality.
• Measure performance: track accuracy, errors, token usage, cost, and latency.
• Keep improving the setup: build tests and compare new vs. current systems.
• Make the tools usable: provide clear instructions and reusable components.
