Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a QA Engineer to build regression automation and drive quality across a growing platform. The role blends manual testing with automated scripts, executing smoke, integration, and performance tests while documenting behavior and defects.

Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Gherkin-based BDD are central to the position. Applicants should have 3+ years in QA and automated testing, excellent communication, and an upper-intermediate English level.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions and correlate to defects.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
