AgileEngine, LLC. in Colombia is seeking a QA Engineer to build regression automation and drive quality across a growing platform. This role blends manual testing with automated scripts, executing smoke, integration, and performance tests while documenting behavior and linking failures to defects.

You will work with JavaScript/TypeScript, Gherkin-based BDD, and have opportunities to contribute to quality practices across the SDLC in a hybrid work environment with global teams.

Formación

• 3+ years in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience writing Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and Agentic skills.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests.
• Record feature behavior in detail.
• Log pass/fail criteria and link failures to defects.
• Identify risks to quality in product or process.
• Collaborate with product team across SDLC and releases.
• Coordinate with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimations.
• Maintain automation repos using GitHub.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
