AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a QA Engineer to blend regression automation with manual testing to uphold high quality across a growing platform. You will execute smoke, integration, and performance tests while documenting behavior and linking failures to defects.

Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Gherkin-based BDD is essential. Candidates should have 3+ years in QA and automated testing, strong communication, and an English level at least upper-intermediate.

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance testing.
• Record detailed feature behavior documentation.
• Log pass/fail criteria and correlate to defects.
• Identify risks to product quality.
• Collaborate with product team across SDLC and releases.
• Incorporate user feedback into testing strategy with stakeholders.
• Estimate effort during refinement.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
