Job summary

Greystar is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an assigned apartment community. You will lead the on-site team, manage budgets, leasing, marketing, and resident relations to meet financial and occupancy goals.

You will ensure compliance with housing laws and company policies, supervise staff performance, and report on property performance to owners and regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing, and customer service background.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property and on-site team.
• Develop budgets and analyze financial statements to support property goals.
• Set rent rates, collect rent, and post fees timely; prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve invoices from vendors and manage payments and contracts.
• Oversee lease enforcement, inspections, and renewal processes; manage notices and evictions as needed.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests promptly.
• Supervise staff, hire, orient, train, and manage performance.
• Engage with owners and provide updates on property performance.
• Complete accounting and administrative reports as assigned.
• California note: follow state-specific lease file checklist where applicable.
