Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and support preventive maintenance across the property.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required.
• State and local certifications required.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments by performing inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and obtaining supplies.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies the supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork timely for proper service-request tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning, painting curbs, and assisting with general upkeep.
