Job summary

Mark-Taylor is seeking a Multi-Site Facilities Technician (Porter/Groundskeeper) for POD 5 communities in Chandler & Tempe, AZ. You will help maintain clean grounds and interiors, ensuring curb appeal and resident satisfaction across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, porter, or related role desirable.
• Basic understanding of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds and work areas throughout the day, following clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, dumpster areas, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from exterior grounds, trash containers, and vacant apartments prior to make-ready process.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including property walks and landscaping assessments.
• Daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and upkeep of pools, tot lots, light fixtures, breezeways, amenity areas and BBQ grills.
• Perform janitorial tasks including power washing and light exterior painting of speed bumps and curbs.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of community grounds.

Compensation

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $19.00/hr.

Requirements

• Ability to perform general groundskeeping, cleaning, and upkeep to maintain community standards.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Willingness to work cohesively as a part of a team.
• Prior experience working as groundskeeper, landscaper, porter, or related position is especially desirable.
