Job summary

Roca Alliances in Medellín, Colombia, is seeking a Senior Product Owner / Business Analyst for the MSP Partner Portal. You will own the backlog, define requirements for MSP billing APIs, and work with US/Europe teams to shape the portal roadmap.

You will collaborate with Sales, Partner, Finance and Billing to gather requirements, write user stories, and ensure timely delivery in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst on B2B software products.
• Experience with subscription, usage-based or partner billing.
• Strong skills writing user stories, acceptance criteria and process documentation.
• Experience owning a backlog in Jira within Agile teams.
• Comfortable working with stakeholders across time zones and business functions.
• Professional English, with strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the MSP partner portal backlog in Jira, aligned with roadmap and stakeholder priorities.
• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria for quoting, contracts, billing and provisioning features.
• Become the team's expert in MSP billing, including contracts and usage-based billing, interfacing with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, NetSuite and ZoneBilling.
• Collaborate with Sales, Partner, Finance and Billing stakeholders across the US and Europe to gather requirements and define scope.
• Define requirements for new partner API families, including MSP billing APIs, with the Architect.
• Capture business knowledge from the current vendor and existing docs, closing gaps in requirements and process documentation.
• Lead backlog refinement and sprint reviews, ensuring features meet acceptance criteria.

About the client

Our client is a leading global email and collaboration security company. It is building a new engineering team in Medellín to own its partner portal for Managed Service Providers (MSPs): the platform partners use for quoting, contracts, billing and provisioning.

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Product Owner / Business Analyst for this new team, which will take over the MSP partner portal from the systems integrator that runs it today, operate it in production and shape its roadmap. You will own the portal backlog and become the team's expert in the MSP billing domain, reporting to the VP of Enterprise Applications and Architecture and working daily with colleagues in the United States and Europe.

The portal is a React and TypeScript/Node platform on AWS, integrated with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Boomi, NetSuite, ZoneBilling, Snowflake and Avalara.

What you'll do

• Own and prioritize the portal backlog in Jira, aligned with the roadmap and stakeholder priorities.
• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria for quoting, contracts, billing and provisioning features.
• Become the team's expert in MSP billing, including contracts and usage-based billing, and how they flow through Salesforce Revenue Cloud, NetSuite and ZoneBilling.
• Work with Sales, Partner, Finance and Billing stakeholders in the US and Europe to gather requirements and agree scope.
• Define requirements for new partner API families, including MSP billing APIs, with the Architect.
• Capture business knowledge from the current vendor and existing documentation, and close gaps in requirements and process documentation.
• Lead backlog refinement and sprint reviews, and confirm features meet acceptance criteria.

What success looks like in your first 6 months

• Knowledge transfer complete for business rules, open requirements and the existing backlog.
• A prioritized, refined backlog that the team and stakeholders trust, with clear acceptance criteria.
• MSP billing rules documented so the domain doesn't depend on any one person.
• A regular rhythm with US and EU stakeholders, and requirements agreed for the first partner billing APIs.

Requirements
