BairesDev is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to drive the technical direction of a product area on an AWS-hosted platform. You will stay hands-on while mentoring engineers and shaping architecture to turn user goals into practical software.

You will own end-to-end delivery, collaborate with end users, and apply AI-assisted development to accelerate outcomes. This role offers 100% remote work and competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience building backend systems.
• Proven record designing event-driven microservices in production.
• Strong knowledge of AWS-hosted platforms and cloud-native patterns.
• Experience shipping software to production and owning its operation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and direct collaboration with end users.

What We Are Looking For

• Solid knowledge of AWS-hosted platforms.
• History of shipping software to production and owning its operation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to work directly with end users.
• Advanced level of English.
