Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to drive a product capability from idea to production. You will provide technical leadership on a Node.js and TypeScript platform hosted on AWS while staying close to the code and user needs.

You will design event-driven microservices, collaborate with end users to shape requirements, and apply AI-assisted development throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring production-health and scalable growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing event-driven microservices in production.
• Hands-on with AWS-hosted platforms.
• Proven track record deploying software to production and operating it.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong collaboration with end users.
• Advanced English proficiency.

In this role, you'll take a product capability from idea to production, working directly with the people who use it. You'll bring technical leadership to a Node.js and TypeScript platform on AWS while staying close to the code.

What You'll Do:

• Own a product capability from design through delivery and operation.

What we are looking for:

• 6+ years of experience building backend systems with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Background designing event-driven microservices architectures in production.
• Hands-on work with AWS-hosted platforms.
• Track record taking software to production and owning its operation.
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools.
• Skill working directly with end users.
• Advanced level of English.
