BairesDev is seeking a Distinguished Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to set technical direction for a growing AWS-hosted platform. You will turn product goals into scalable software and influence multiple teams.

You will design event-driven architectures, own production deployments, mentor senior engineers, and advocate AI-assisted development across the delivery lifecycle. This fully remote role offers strong compensation and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend development with Node.js/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with event-driven microservices in production.
• Extensive cloud experience on AWS.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of deep expertise building backend systems with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of event-driven microservices architectures, having designed them in production.
• Extensive background with AWS-hosted platforms.
• Experience taking software to production and owning its operation.
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools.
• Comfort collaborating directly with end users.
• Advanced level of English.
