Collins Aerospace, located in Santa Isabel, PR, onsite, is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up, calibrate, and operate production machinery. The role ensures equipment functions correctly and supports precise manufacturing on the production line.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience and can communicate in English and Spanish. Relocation is not offered; residency in Puerto Rico is required at start.

Formación

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsabilidades

• Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models.
• Inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Use computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines.
• Control and adjust machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.
• May make calculations and assist with numeric controlled programming.
• Complete a post offer vision examination.
