Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. in Bogotá seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in electric power systems.

You will apply protection, automation and design knowledge to complex projects and lead customer training, installation and commissioning tasks. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and the ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience in electric power systems.
• Knowledge of power system protection, control, automation and communications applications.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally at least 25% of the time.
• Strong writing, documentation and speaking skills; ability to learn new skills and work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Apply knowledge of power system focus area to complete complex assignments.
• Lead training and assist customers with design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning and operation of automation and/or protection systems.
• Lead in assigning, completing and implementing work within scope, schedule and budget to high quality and safety.
• Assist in preparing and presenting proposals for SEL equipment, services, and systems.
• Mentor and develop professional staff; may supervise as necessary.
• Model, teach and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Understand. Create. Simplify.
• Other duties as assigned.
