Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to join the Digital Delivery Team in Bogota. You will build secure, scalable, and maintainable Power Platform solutions, collaborating with stakeholders and business services to drive digital transformation.

The role requires expertise in Model-Driven and Canvas Apps, Dataverse data modelling, and DevOps practices, with a focus on enterprise-grade solutions across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure ecosystems.

Qualifications

• University degree or 5+ years IT experience.
• Expertise in Model-Driven and Canvas Apps on Power Platform.
• Experience with cross-functional Agile teams and Dataverse modelling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power Automate workflows and Canvas Power Apps.
• Lead design, development and implementation of Power Platform solutions.
• Integrate Power Platform with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Azure, SQL Server, and third-party systems.
• Develop solutions aligned with best practices and firm CoE; meet design and validation criteria.
• Collaborate with architects, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to translate requirements into designs.
• Create and maintain pipelines and deployment artifacts; enable smooth rollout by operations teams.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to play a key position within the Digital Delivery Team. Working closely with stakeholders and Business Services teams, the successful candidate will deliver secure, scalable and maintainable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies, helping to drive operational efficiency and digital transformation.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• University degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years of IT experience
• Expertise in building Model-Driven and Canvas Applications using the Power Platform, leveraging Azure and M365 Services
• Proven experience working in cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of Dataverse data modelling, security roles, business rules, relationships, and data migration.
• Experience leveraging Dataverse, including creating and using Data Connectors
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (Apps, BI, Automate, Virtual Agents) and integrating on-premises data with Azure on-prem Data Gateway
• Experience implementing DevOps practices, source control, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Experience building solutions that work with Dynamics 365 ERP and/or CI (preferred, not required)
• Understanding of data services such as Dataverse, Azure Synapse, Data Gateway, Data Warehouse, and integration with Azure ML and Cognitive Services

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

• University degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years of IT experience
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
• PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer certification preferred, but not required
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with 2-3 years in Power App Developer roles
• Experience with cloud-based development environments (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub)
• Familiarity with specific Power Platform components (e.g., Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents)

Job responsibilities

• Build and support Power Automate workflows and Canvas Power Apps
• Leading the design, development and implementation of Power Platform solutions
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Azure, SQL Server and third-party systems
• Develop Power Platform-based solutions aligned with best practices and the firm’s Centre of Excellence, meeting design requirements and validation criteria.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and execute designs for enterprise technical solutions.
• Work within a team of cloud developers to deliver enterprise-grade solutions for WPS tech platforms.
• Conduct peer reviews of code and implementations.
• Create and maintain pipelines for Power Apps solutions.
• Own the creation of build and deployment artifacts and collaborate with operations teams for seamless rollout of enterprise technical solutions.
• Help the Digital Delivery Team adopt modern software delivery methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps.
• Create and maintain technical documentation using the firm’s existing templates.
• Advise in-house delivery teams on new systems and technologies.
