Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. You will build reliable platform services, manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and collaborate with engineering and data science teams to keep systems secure and performant.

You will work with distributed architecture, AI-native tooling, and service mesh technologies, contributing to ownership-driven development and fast delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year AWS and Kubernetes, including Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd/Cilium).
• 1+ year building advanced components: service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, polyglot persistence.
• 6+ months working with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI-native tooling.
• 6+ months SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code/Claude Cowork.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to learn quickly, ownership mindset.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable platform services to support company growth.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance; identify bottlenecks and improve infrastructure.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries; ensure security and operational excellence.
• Implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize development processes.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including senior leadership, on project status, risks, and issues.
