Ricova is seeking a highly skilled Payroll MASTER to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations with a focus on USA and/or Canada markets. The role requires meticulous numerical analysis and attention to detail to support wage processing, deductions, and regulatory reporting.

You will coordinate payments, manage year-end activities, and collaborate with HR and Finance to continuously improve payroll controls and processes across all company branches.

Formación

  • 7+ years of proven experience in high-volume payroll processing (USA/Canada).
  • Degree in Business Admin, Accounting, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, compliance, and payroll regulations.

Responsabilidades

  • Oversee high-volume payroll processing with accuracy for wages, bonuses, deductions, and withholdings.
  • Coordinate payments, direct deposits, and other compensation forms.
  • Validate payroll-related reports including tax filings and audits.
  • Manage year-end payroll activities (W-2, 1099, T-4, RL-1, ROE).
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international payroll regulations.
  • Design and implement improvements to payroll processes and controls.
  • Escalate and resolve complex payroll discrepancies.
  • Support onboarding, terminations, and benefits administration.
  • Prepare reports on union dues and garnishments.
  • Reconcile benefits invoices and oversee full payroll cycle.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll MASTER to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency of payroll while managing and coordinating payroll processes with a specific focus on payroll for the USA and/or Canada. Your strong numerical analysis skills and keen eye for detail will be essential in ensuring the accuracy of all calculations, reports, and financial compliance.

General Responsibilities

  2. Regulatory, labor, and tax compliance with US and/or Canadian markets
  3. Continuous improvement of processes and controls
  4. Financial and audit reporting management
  5. HR and Finance collaboration
  6. Complex problem-solving
  7. Stay up to date with the latest payroll technology and regulations
Main Responsibilities
  1. Oversee high-volume payroll processing for all company branches, ensuring accuracy in wages, bonuses, deductions, and withholdings.
  2. Coordinate and validate payments, direct deposits, and other forms of compensation.
  3. Oversee and validate payroll-related reports, including tax filings, financial statements, and reports for internal and external audits.
  4. Manage year-end payroll activities (W-2, 1099, T-4, T-4A, RL-1, ROE)
  5. Ensure compliance with applicable local, national, and international labor and tax regulations.
  6. Design, document, and implement improvements to payroll processes and internal controls.
  7. Act as the escalation point for the resolution of complex payroll discrepancies and issues.
  8. Provide comprehensive support on payroll matters related to onboarding, termination, and benefits of administration.
  9. Prepare and validate reports on union dues and garnishments.
  10. Reconciliation Benefits Invoices.
  11. Manages the full payroll cycle. (Payroll processing, data validation, benefits administration, Record of employment, employee onboarding, etc.)
Type of experience required
  • A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in high-volume payroll processing, specifically with USA and/or Canada payroll.
Skills required
  • Education: A professional degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • HR Knowledge: Solid general knowledge of HR principles, best practices, and compliances standards.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software, HRIS systems, and Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Languages: English proficiency level B2 or higher.
