AgileEngine is seeking a part-time Data Engineering and Infrastructure Lead to audit AWS architecture, CI/CD processes, and ETL pipeline decisions in an advisory capacity. You will review SageMaker-based MLOps pipelines and mentor the team on engineering standards, while evaluating AI-assisted development workflows.

You will work with the team to balance managed tools against custom builds and provide leadership input on necessary changes to the current build and data pipelines.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on AWS experience (ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS, S3, SageMaker, VPC, CloudFront).
• Fluency with Infrastructure-as-code, specifically Terraform.
• Proven track record designing or auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance.
• Strong data engineering depth to advise on ETL/ingestion architecture.
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code).
• Comfort with part-time advisory capacity (50% down to 25%).
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Audit the AWS architecture across live apps (ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFront, SageMaker).
• Review CI/CD and SDLC governance, suggesting environment separation and release gating.
• Evaluate Claude Code usage for code generation and reviews against standards.
• Provide opinions on ETL/data-ingestion architecture (managed vs. custom).
• Mentor the build/infrastructure team in AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and data engineering practices.
• Set recommendations and direction from audit findings to leadership.
