AgileEngine is seeking a part-time Data Engineering and Infrastructure Lead to audit AWS architecture, CI/CD processes, and ETL decisions in an advisory capacity. This role weighs managed tooling vs. custom builds and mentors the team on engineering standards.

You will review SageMaker-based MLOps pipelines, evaluate Claude Code usage, and provide an early technical opinion on ETL/data-ingestion architecture. Flexible flextime with remote work options.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on AWS experience with ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS (Postgres), S3, SageMaker.
• Fluency in Terraform IaC.
• Proven track record auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance.
• Strong data engineering depth for ETL/ ingestion architecture.
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code).
• Part-time advisory capacity with mentoring and clear communication.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Audit AWS architecture across live apps (ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, VPC, SageMaker).
• Review CI/CD processes and SDLC governance, suggest improvements.
• Evaluate Claude Code usage for quality and cost considerations.
• Advise on ETL/data ingestion architecture (managed vs. custom).
• Mentor the infra build team in AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and data practices.
• Set out recommendations and technical direction for the build changes.
• Report findings to leadership with risk and readiness framing.
