AgileEngine is seeking a part-time Data Engineering and Infrastructure Lead to audit AWS architecture, CI/CD processes, and ETL decisions. You will review SageMaker-based pipelines, mentor the team on standards, and evaluate AI-assisted development workflows for quality and cost governance.

You will mentor the day-to-day infrastructure team, focusing on AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and data engineering practices, while setting direction for architectural improvements.

Formación

• 6+ years hands-on AWS experience across ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS, S3, SageMaker.
• Fluency with Terraform IaC and infrastructure automation.
• Proven track record auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance.
• Strong data engineering depth for ETL/ingestion architectures.
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code).
• Experience mentoring engineers in a part-time advisory role and strong communication.

Responsabilidades

• Audit AWS architecture and CI/CD processes across live apps, advising on governance.
• Assess MLOps pipelines and tooling for cost and quality.
• Review data ingestion and ETL architecture choices (managed vs custom).
• Mentor the build team to improve AWS, DevOps, and data practices.
• Provide leadership with high-level risk and readiness assessments.
• Report findings and recommendations to leadership.
