AgileEngine in Pereira, Colombia seeks a part-time Data Engineering and Infrastructure Lead to audit AWS architecture, CI/CD, and ETL decisions in advisory capacity.

You will review SageMaker-based MLOps pipelines, guide engineers, and establish SDLC governance while evaluating AI-assisted workflows. This role balances hands-on knowledge with strategic mentoring.

Flexible hours with 50% advisory, stepping down to 25%, enabling remote and on-site collaboration in a hybrid setup.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on AWS experience (ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS Postgres, S3, SageMaker, EventBridge, VPC/ALB/CloudFront, IAM)
• Fluency with Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• Proven CI/CD and SDLC governance experience (schema/versioning, environment separation, release gating)
• Strong data engineering depth for ETL/ingestion architecture decisions
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code)
• Part-time advisory capacity (50% to 25%), strong mentoring ability

Responsabilidades

• Audit AWS architecture across live apps (ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, VPC, SageMaker) and MLOps pipelines
• Review CI/CD and SDLC governance and recommend improvements
• Assess Claude Code usage for engineering quality and cost governance
• Provide early technical opinions on ETL/ingestion architecture
• Mentor and accelerate infra build teams in AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, data engineering
• Set recommendations and direction after audits
• Report findings with leadership, outlining risks and readiness
