Job summary

MySavant.ai is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Bogotá to oversee logistics teams and optimize performance. You will guide Team Leads, monitor KPIs, and drive improvements across the operation to meet client expectations and SLAs.

You'll coordinate staffing, coach leaders, review reports, and handle escalations, ensuring consistent procedures and strong collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising Team Leads or managing multiple teams.
• Strong understanding of logistics workflows and performance management.
• Experience managing KPIs, service levels, productivity and quality metrics.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the performance and effectiveness of the logistics operation, providing direction and support to Team Leads while maintaining visibility into the overall performance of Logistics Coordinators.

This role ensures that teams consistently meet operational targets, client expectations, quality standards, and service-level requirements. The Supervisor evaluates performance across teams, addresses escalated operational and personnel matters, drives process improvements, and ensures Team Leads effectively manage their respective coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Team Leads and maintain visibility into the performance, productivity, and development of all Logistics Coordinators.
• Monitor operational KPIs, service levels, quality metrics, productivity trends, and overall team performance.
• Hold regular performance reviews and alignment meetings with Team Leads to assess results, identify gaps, and establish improvement plans.
• Ensure Team Leads provide effective coaching, guidance, and accountability to Logistics Coordinators.
• Review team-level reports and identify recurring shipment issues, workflow inefficiencies, and operational risks.
• Handle escalated shipment issues, service disruptions, client concerns, and performance matters that require higher-level intervention.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and team productivity.
• Coordinate workload distribution, staffing needs, resource allocation, and coverage across teams.
• Ensure consistent application of logistics procedures, client requirements, and company policies across all teams.
• Communicate operational results, risks, and improvement initiatives to the Operations Manager or senior leadership.
• Support the development of Team Leads through coaching, performance management, and leadership guidance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising Team Leads or managing multiple teams, preferably in a logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of logistics workflows, shipment coordination, and operational performance management.
• Proven experience managing KPIs, service levels, productivity, and quality metrics.
• Strong English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
