Auxis LLC is seeking an OC Analyst to administer and support clients’ operating system environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

You will interpret alerts, manage Windows Server services (DHCP, DNS, AD, CA), respond to events, and collaborate with application teams to resolve OS and performance issues. This role requires basic Windows Server administration and AD familiarity, with Linux knowledge and ITIL basics being a plus.

Formación

• 1+ years of IT, infrastructure, or technical support experience preferred.
• Basic experience administering Windows servers and understanding networking.
• Hands-on familiarity with Active Directory.
• Experience or academic background in CS, IT, or a related field is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret alerts for operating system issues, hardware performance, security vulnerabilities, and other basic systems management tasks.
• Manage alerts for Microsoft Windows Server OS services such as DHCP, DNS, AD, and CA.
• Respond to events to ensure the highest level of system and infrastructure availability.
• Collaborate with client application teams to resolve operating system, availability, and performance-related issues.
• Monitor security, backup, and redundancy systems according to predefined standards.
• Work closely with and support the IT Service Desk, Engineering team, and vendors to expedite issue resolution.
• Regularly review logs of events based on organization/client requirements.
• Properly administer assigned tickets, including documentation, updates, and managing ticket performance.

Job Summary

The OC Analyst is responsible for administrating and supporting clients’ operating system environments according to best practices, ensuring high levels of system availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret alerts for operating system issues, hardware performance, security vulnerabilities, and other basic systems management tasks.
• Manage alerts for Microsoft Windows Server OS services such such as DHCP, DNS, AD, and CA.
• Respond to events to ensure the highest level of system and infrastructure availability.

Skills and Experience

EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years of experience in IT, infrastructure, technical support, or a related field is preferred.

• Basic experience administering Windows servers and understanding networking infrastructure.

• Hands-on familiarity with Active Directory.

• Experience or academic background in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is a plus.

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Basic understanding of the ITIL framework and IT service management practices.

• Basic knowledge of Active Directory services.

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems is a plus.

• Understanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts and practices.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and email security solutions.

• Basic understanding of virtualization technologies.

• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and basic cloud operations.

• Understanding of infrastructure operations, including backup, antivirus, and patch management.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Minimum B2 level proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
