Job summary

Auxis LLC in Bogotá seeks a Voice Engineer to own day-to-day engineering support of the voice and unified communications environment for the Mosaic Infrastructure Managed Services engagement, spanning roughly 60 sites across the United States, Canada, Brazil, Peru, and Paraguay. The role stabilizes the legacy CUCM estate while migrating to cloud-based calling, handling MACDs and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in IT/Telecommunications.
• 3+ years of hands-on voice/UC engineering experience incl. CUCM administration.
• Knowledge of SIP, RTP, QoS, voice gateways, and SIP trunking.
• Experience executing MACDs and troubleshooting voice quality in multi-site environments.
• Experience with telecom carriers on trunks, circuits, and number porting.
• Familiarity with ITIL incident and change management processes.
• Strong English communication skills (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for CUCM, including call routing, dial plans, voicemail, and UC services.
• Execute voice MACDs for users, devices, and call flows.
• Troubleshoot voice quality, registration, and connectivity across sites.
• Support decommissioning of legacy CUCM estate and migration planning.
• Coordinate with carriers on circuit, trunk, and porting activities.
• Document the voice environment and configurations.
• Collaborate with Network Engineer Lead on voice-impacting changes.
• Assist Teams Phone/Direct Routing integration where in scope.
• Participate in after-hours change windows for voice changes and migrations.
