Oceans Code Experts is seeking an AX-20 Voice Engineer to support voice platform migrations or decommissions and administer Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM). You will troubleshoot voice quality issues, collaborate with telecom carriers, and ensure smooth operation of voice technologies across multiple sites.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on voice/UC engineering, strong English communication, and familiarity with ITIL processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/Telecommunications.
• 3+ years of hands-on voice/UC engineering experience incl. CUCM.
• Working knowledge of SIP, RTP, QoS, voice gateways, SIP trunking.

Oceans Code Experts is looking for a talented AX-20 Voice Engineer to join our team. This role involves supporting voice platform migrations or decommissions, administering Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), and working with voice protocols and technologies.

Job Responsibilities

• Administer Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and execute voice MACDs.
• Troubleshoot voice quality issues in a multi-site environment.
• Work with ITIL incident and change management processes.
• Collaborate with telecom carriers on trunks, circuits, and number porting.
• Support voice platform migrations or decommissions.
• Ensure smooth operation of voice protocols and technologies: SIP, RTP, QoS, voice gateways, and SIP trunking.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Maintain strong documentation practices for configurations and troubleshooting procedures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on voice/UC engineering experience, including administration of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
• Working knowledge of voice protocols and technologies: SIP, RTP, QoS, voice gateways, and SIP trunking.
• Experience executing voice MACDs and troubleshooting voice quality issues in a multi-site environment.
• Experience working with telecom carriers on trunks, circuits, and number porting.
• Familiarity with ITIL incident and change management processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting voice platform migrations or decommissions (CUCM to cloud calling, Teams Phone, or similar).
• Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone / Direct Routing.
• Experience in a managed services environment supporting enterprise clients.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese a plus, given the engagement's multi-country footprint.
