Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing.
• Hands-on proficiency in Canva or comparable design tools.
• Portfolio with original social media graphics and marketing assets.
• General knowledge of social media platforms and publishing tools, preferably Meta Business Suite.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and translate messaging into engaging visuals.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Position Overview

We are looking for a creative, detail‑oriented Social Media Specialist to support the execution and distribution of marketing content across social media channels.

The primary focus is hands‑on content creation and visual design, including social media graphics, content calendars, and marketing collateral. The specialist will work with messaging, brand guidelines, and direction provided by the internal marketing team to produce polished, engaging content.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Planning and Publishing: Manage social media calendars and schedule content across relevant platforms.
• Graphic Design: Create polished social media graphics and visual assets using Canva or comparable design tools.
• Content Development: Adapt existing messaging into engaging captions, headlines, and calls to action.
• Marketing Collateral: Design one‑pagers, presentations, and sales materials to support product launches and sales initiatives.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure content accuracy, visual consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Performance Monitoring: Track impressions, reach, and engagement, identifying opportunities to improve content performance.
• Content Research: Review competitor content and successful formats to inform creative improvements.
• Marketing Support: Assist with email content execution and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet campaign deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant experience in social media, content creation, graphic design, or digital marketing.
• Hands‑on proficiency in Canva or comparable graphic design tools.
• A portfolio demonstrating original, high‑quality social media graphics and marketing assets.
• General knowledge of social media platforms and publishing tools, preferably Meta Business Suite.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and translate messaging into engaging visual content.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting B2B marketing initiatives.
• Familiarity with HubSpot Marketing Hub for social scheduling, publishing, and email execution.
• Experience analyzing social media engagement and optimizing content.
• Basic knowledge of paid social media or search advertising.
• Exposure to e‑commerce platforms such as Shopify.
• Familiarity with website content management tools such as WordPress.
