Global Technology Services seeks a Mid-Level Shopify Developer to independently manage day-to-day development tasks, customize storefronts, and integrate third-party services. You will troubleshoot production issues with guidance while ensuring responsive, user-friendly experiences.

Strong Shopify, Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript skills are essential, along with familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs and payments integration. Collaboration with technical and non-technical teams is key.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional web development experience with Shopify.
• Hands-on experience developing and customizing Shopify storefronts.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Experience with Node.js, Python, Ruby, or PHP.

What you will be doing:

We are looking for a Mid-Level Shopify Developer with solid web development experience and hands-on knowledge of Shopify storefront customization. The ideal candidate can work independently on day-to-day development tasks, build responsive storefront experiences, integrate third-party services, and troubleshoot production issues with guidance when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional web development experience with focus on Shopify.
• Hands-on experience developing and customizing Shopify storefronts.
• Experience with Liquid and Shopify theme architecture.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • HTML
  • CSS/SCSS
  • JavaScript
  • Responsive/mobile-first development
• Experience with at least one back-end technology such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or PHP.
• Familiarity with REST or GraphQL APIs and third-party integrations.
• Basic understanding of online payments, tokenization, and PCI considerations.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles and e-commerce customer experiences.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PaySafe, Stripe, Braintree, Authorize.net, or similar payment providers.
• Experience with Shopify GraphQL or Admin API.
• Experience with Shopify app/custom functionality.
• Experience optimizing storefront performance and conversion.
• Experience working with shipping or order-tracking platforms.
