Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, or related engineering.
• 7+ years in a corporate engineering or software development environment.
• Strong experience with Python and SQL; proficiency with software engineering tools.
• Experience with test-driven development and leading engineering reviews.

What you will be doing:

As a Principal Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing solutions for the company. You will serve as an advocate for engineering decisions.

While interfacing with other business leaders, you will lead initiatives involving the development of new products and services. You will work directly with IT, as well as other teams supporting Transportation Management's various platforms and systems. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Solutions Engineering.

Required Skills & Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Related Engineering.
• 7+ years experience working in a corporate engineering or software development environment
• Must have well-rounded experience planning and implementing engineering, analytics, and relationship development.
• The ability to hit the ground running in a very busy atmosphere
• Strong Experience with Python and SQL, Proficiency in software engineering tools
• Experience with test-driven development
• Ability to conduct software reviews and status updates with leadership
• Ability to run project meetings (requirements & design)

Nice to Have Skills

• 10+ years experience working in a corporate engineering or Supply Chain
• consulting environment
• Sound knowledge of Supply Chain Engineering, Software Engineering,
• Data and Platforms Engineering.
• Experience with Supply Chain modeling platforms like Supply Chain Guru,
• Llama.ai, NextMV, Gains, Sophus, Starboard, Optilogic, or TMOD.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience with Go/Golang
• Experience with ML Algorithms, Optimization Algorithms, and Building AI

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• An exceptional ability to work autonomously.
