Global Technology Services in Medellín, Colombia, is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer to join our engineering team and help develop scalable enterprise applications and integration solutions. You will build and maintain both backend services and modern web applications, working across the full technology stack.

You will develop robust Java-based APIs and backend services while creating responsive, user-friendly interfaces with React.

Formación

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack or Backend Developer.
• Proficient with Java and Spring Boot.

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of scalable enterprise applications and integration solutions. In this role, you will build and maintain both backend services and modern web applications, working across the full technology stack.

You will develop robust Java-based APIs and backend services while creating responsive, user-friendly interfaces with React. The ideal candidate has experience building full stack applications, integrating with enterprise systems, and collaborating within Agile development teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack or Backend Developer.

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Professional experience developing modern web applications with React.

• Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Experience developing enterprise applications or system-to-system integrations.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.

• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

• Exposure to NoSQL databases.

• Experience working with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies.

• Experience using Redis for caching and performance optimization.

• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Experience participating in software development best practices, including:

• Unit testing
• Integration testing
• Code reviews
• Agile development methodologies

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with React state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.).
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
